1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Bush Guides Safaris.
1.2 By making a booking, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit payment. The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking.
2.2 The balance of the tour price must be paid in full before the start of the tour, as per the payment schedule provided at the time of booking.
2.3 Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted payment methods.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations by the client must be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by Bush Guides Safaris.
3.2 Cancellation charges are as follows:
- More than 60 days before departure: Full refund of the deposit.
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
3.3 In the unlikely event that Bush Guides Safaris cancels your tour, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
4. Changes to Bookings
4.1 Any changes to your booking must be communicated in writing and are subject to availability and possible additional costs.
4.2 If you wish to transfer your booking to another person, you must notify us at least 30 days before departure.
5. Travel Insurance
5.1 We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, personal property loss, and other unforeseen events.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are in good health and fit to participate in the safari activities.
6.2 It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
7. Liability
7.1 Bush Guides Safaris acts as an agent for the relevant service providers (e.g., accommodation, transport, and activity providers) and is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by these providers.
7.2 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
7.3 Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the tour.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Bush Guides Safaris is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, and other acts of God.
9. Complaints
9.1 Any complaints must be made in writing and submitted to Bush Guides Safaris as soon as possible.
9.2 We will make every effort to resolve complaints promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.
